Raistone is seeking a Sales Development Representative to act as the liaison between our Product Marketing/Marketing and Sales teams. The Sales Development Representative role will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to identify potential clients, qualify leads, and create new business opportunities. The SDR will be the first point of contact for prospective customers, introducing them to Raistone’s products and services, and setting the stage for a successful sales process.
To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, qualify the opportunity and work with the sales team to close the deal. - Lead Qualification & Prospect Research
- Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities by understanding their needs, challenges, and interests.
- Research prospects’ businesses, understand their core drivers, and align these with Raistone’s offerings.
- Identify client needs, customize product solutions, and suggest appropriate products/services to increase satisfaction.
- Sales Outreach & Relationship Building
- Contact potential clients via cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other methods to present our company and its offerings.
- Build trusting relationships with clients while proactively seeking new business opportunities in the market.
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Sales team.
- Pipeline Management & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of interactions in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce)
- Monitor and prioritize prospective client outreach by using Pardot data and prospect scoring.
- Provide feedback on lead quality and report weekly/monthly/quarterly sales results to the Head of Product Marketing.
- Stay up-to-date with new products/services, pricing, and payment plans to enhance the effectiveness of your outreach.
- Collaboration
- Partner with the product marketing and corporate marketing team to improve lead quality and align efforts with marketing campaigns.
- Work with the sales team to refine sales tactics and ensure successful lead-to-client conversion.
- Proven experience as a Sales Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques, including cold calls, and a track record of achieving sales quotas.
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis, and PowerPoint for presentations.
- Understanding of sales performance metrics and ability to deliver engaging presentations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
