Job Description:
- Take charge of securing our digital assets, proactively planning and executing cybersecurity protocols.
- Stay ahead of threats through vigilant monitoring, analysis, and prompt response to potential incidents.
- Empower colleagues with knowledge, providing training and support to foster a secure environment.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and assess potential vulnerabilities that could impact the confidentiality, integrity, or availability of our systems.
- Utilize a range of advanced security tools to detect and categorize potential threats.
- Uncover weaknesses and develop strategies to minimize them, strengthening our overall security posture.
- Help maintain compliance with essential industry certifications, such as HiTrust, SOC, and FedRamp.
- Ensure protocols remain current, conducting regular reviews and necessary updates.
- Collaborate with project management to handle client security inquiries and potential proposals.
- Communicate technical and security needs to leadership clearly and effectively.
- Identify areas for improvement in security operations and develop plans to address them.
- Assist with the maintenance of software within our support network.
- Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning efforts.
- Take ownership of assigned projects, demonstrating a proactive and independent approach.
- Provide expert guidance to internal teams as needed.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
- Relevant experience is desired.
- Strong knowledge of operational processes.
- Excellent communication skills, with an understanding of industry terminology.
- Critical thinking abilities, efficient time management, and the ability to meet deadlines
